Grove City Under Construction starting August 1, 2016:

The trees marked for removal are in close proximity to the new service location for sewer or water. In some locations trees were planted right over the service. These trees need to be removed to facilitate the new construction.
In some cases the trees are just close to the new service location. The injury done to the roots usually kills the trees.
Please keep in mind the safety of the workers. We need to have the excavation be done to OSHA standards to protect them from a trench cave-in.

I have had a couple of questions from the residents wanting wood for fire wood. The following is the reply that I am giving them:

The contractor will cut and remove the trees. Unfortunately due to a huge liability to having the public involved in tree removal is not something we can accommodate. It is just too large a risk.
